The final art product for screen printing is color separated film positives. Multi color artwork needs to be created on a vector based program like Corel Draw or Adobe Illustrator. All text should be converted to curves before it’s sent. Be sure to use a “PMS Spot” color palette, not CMYK or RGB. You can test to see if your color separations are correct by checking your separation menu. It should show the colors in your design, not “Cyan” “Magenta” “Yellow” and “Black.” These files should be PC format with a tag like CDR, CMX, or EPS.

TIFF’s, JIFF’s, GIF’s, JPEG’s, and other scanned and created images that are a single color or black and white photos are easily incorporated into a design, or used alone.

Images created in low resolution are prone to “sawtoothing” of formerly smooth curves, “posterizing,” or “pixelating” when enlarged to t-shirt size.

Multi color image files will require a 4-color process printing or conversion to spot color files.

We can custom screen print your logo or design on any garment in our catalog. We print in up to eight spot colors on shirts and four spot colors on caps. Printing locations include front left chest, full chest, full backs, or sleeves and hip print for sweats. Orders of 10,000 + require special scheduling.
